Basically a PayPal button allows people to donate or pay you money directly from your blog or website. If your blog /website is about selling stuff you can use “buy” button and if you are into charity or giving away free service you can add “donate” button.
Now, how to add a PayPal Donate button?
It is very easy to add a PayPal Donate button and requires only a few simple steps. Everybody can do it just as long as you have a PayPal account. Follow six simple steps below. In case you don’t have one yet, you can set one up it is very easily as well.
Step #1. Log into your PayPal account and look for Merchant Services tab. Go to left side of the screen where you find the Donations link.
Step #2. You should be now in a section called “Create a PayPal payment button”. There should be a field called “Organization Name/Service”. Now fill in details on how you want to call your donations. You can use for example “tips” or anything you’d like to call it, you can be creative.
Step #3. The field Donations ID is completely optional. You can leave it blank actually.
Step #4. Then select your currency (reasonably self-explanatory) and then click Create button.
Step #5. In next step there will be JavaScript code, copy it and paste it into your website side or wherever you want that button to appear.
Step #6. Add code, save your blog or website and check if the button has displayed.
There you go, that’s all! Now users (visitors) can use this button and pay you directly with their credit card or PayPal account. Good luck!
